  1. Dear Liz Park:

Congratulations on your new post. I have fond memories of The Carnegie Museum in Pgh…as I was an art student at Tech many years ago and enjoyed going to the Carnegie International there.
I hope that you will enliven the exhibition schedule at Buffalo at Martha Jackson Place. Its a beautiful space…and Bob Scales is a wonderful and knowledgeable person. I would love to be kept on the mailing list for shows.
    About me:
I have been a private art dealer based in NYC for 30 years. I work with Post War Art and estates as well as living working artists. I have known and been involved with several of Martha Jackson early artists ( work in the collection and archives there.) especially with John Hultberg, one of the first artists represented in her NY gallery on 69 street. I have recently reached out to MARC PAYOT at Hauser and Wirth gallery now occupying that space and presented an idea of doing a historical show focusing on the early MJ gallery in NY. I have also reached out to LINDSAY POLLACK …former chief editor of Art In America regarding doing a book/biography about Martha Jackson. She is now working with the whitney museum. Lindsay is the author of THE GIRL WITH THE GALLERY
about Edith Halpert, an early female art dealer in NY.
I would very much like to explore some of these ideas with you.

    Best Wishes,
