  1. I saw the article by Vanessa Friedman in the New York Times regarding the management of the Smith College Historic Clothing Collection.

I am very interested in speaking to Kiki Smith about the concerns of managing the Smith College Historic Clothing Collection. I am involved with the all-volunteer committee that has responsibility for preservation, storage, exhibiting and general management of the historic clothing collection of The Duxbury Rural and Historical Society in Duxbury, MA.
This collection has approximately 2000 pieces, and covers the period between 1750-1970. Please contact me at 781-934- 5949, my home number, to share some mutual thoughts and concerns about the work we perform.
We have an ongoing exhibit at the Duxbury Free Library, and a shoe exhibit at the Nathaniel Winsor, Jr. House, the Society’s main office.
    Thank you,
