Colby College Museum of Art Presents Wíwənikan…the beauty we carry

Wíwənikan…the beauty we carry exhibition features the work of 38 contemporary artists. All artists are First Nations, collectively known as the Wabanaki, the Maliseet, Micmac, Passamaquoddy, Penobscot, and Abenaki, who have lived on the land of what is now Maine and Maritime Canada for thousands of years.
