Spelman College Museum of Fine Art to Acquire Artwork from the Souls Grown Deep Foundation

The Souls Grown Deep Foundation will transfer the artwork of self-taught black artists from the American South to five different museums. Spelman College Museum of Fine Art will be one of the five museums to acquire artwork with the help of the Souls Grown Deep Foundation. The other museums to receive work are the Brooklyn Museum, the Morgan Library & Museum, the Dallas Museum of Art and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. (The New York Times)
