PSU’s First On-Campus Art Museum Opens to the Public, Free of Charge

Portland State University’s Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art opened on November 7, with around 1,300 visitors at the grand opening.

Linda Tesner, the director and curator, explained that the goal of the opening exhibition, Art for All, was to have “at least one work that resonates at a profound level with every visitor.” She further emphasized, “Everyone is welcome here, no matter what interests you have or what you do.” [VG PSU Vanguard]
