The College of Visual Arts & Design (CVAD) Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Curator to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Function as Director of the galleries.
  • Curate and lead the development of exhibitions, programming, and interpretation.
  • Hire and supervise staff.
  • Collaborate with college and university partners to cultivate donor relationships and seek external support for operations, programming, and endowment.
  • Serve as co-chair of the university’s Art in Public Places Committee.
  • Collaborate with College of Visual Arts and Design stakeholders towards the integration of the gallery in the pedagogical mission of the college.
