At Portland State University’s New Museum, Art for All

On Thursday, November 7, 2019, the new Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at Portland State University will open to the public with the exhibition, Art for All: From the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation, curated by the interim director, Linda Tesner.

The museum will not charge admission to visitors, in hopes of being a welcoming space for university and nonuniversity visitors. In addition, the museum will not have a collection but instead draw from other sources like Jordan Schnitzer’s personal collection, as Tesner did with Art for All. [Oregon’s ArtsWatch]
