Art, Mourning, and Biotechnology on Display at Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum

The exhibition Spirit Molecule is a living laboratory at the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum. New York-based artist, Heather Dewey-Hagborg, who received her PhD in electronic arts from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2016, collaborated with artist and botanist Phillip Andrew Lewis to create genetic memorial plants using the DNA of lost loved ones. The exhibition is on view through June 8 – September 29, 2019 [Art in America]
